Health and Safety PolicyHealth & Safety

 A C Lloyd (Builders) Limited recognise our responsibility In accordance with the provisions of The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees.  We will comply with the requirements of all Health and Safety legislation as effective Health and Safety Management actively contributes to the company’s success.

It is our continuing aim to provide, promote and maintain a high level of safety; to provide adequate controls of the health and safety risks which arise from our work activities; to prevent accidents and work related ill health; to minimise personal injury and to safeguard the health of our employees and other persons who may be affected by our activities.

To provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions with safe and well maintained plant and equipment.

To provide adequate training and instruction to ensure all employees are competent to carry out their specific work activities.  To consult with all employees on health and safety matters and provide the necessary supervision and advice.

We will require our supply chain to identify their health and safety hazards, which may have an impact upon our work activities, and provide the appropriate instruction and training to prevent, reduce or control the risks at an acceptable level.

The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of all A C Lloyd (Builders) Ltd employees at each and every level of our hierarchy.

Health and safety issues will be given the same managerial commitment as every other function within our organisation.  Senior Management will demonstrate leadership in health and safety matters by visiting sites, ensuring safety issues are identified, assessed and managed.

The Health and Safety policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary.
